QSIC sets the direction and provides coordination to achieve the vision 'Smart Spatial Solutions for Queensland' by ensuring that spatial information is accessible and used to support business, lifestyle and a sustainable environment across the State'.

To forward this vision, QSIC has established working groups to progress specific industry issues for the spatial information industry, particulalry in Queensland. Working groups are coordinated through the Queensland Spatial Information Office.
