Identifying the Queensland Spatial Information Industry'defining who we are'
In 2006, QSIC identified a need to define and establish a base line of businesses and organisations that are within, or are users of, the spatial information industry.
This forms part of a wider QSIC investigation into skills shortages within the Queensland spatial information industry and developing an understanding of the market's needs.
A small working group of representatives from the Queensland Spatial Information Office, ASIBA and Geosciences Australia are developing the framework to conduct the identification survey.
